Experience Details

We, the present members of the Scilio Family are the fifth generation producing wine on our estate in Linguaglossa. It is a family tradition that we will safe guard and pass on to the future generations.


Our Wine making philosophy is based on the careful cultivation of our vineyards to give us the best possible grape production for wines that preserve and reflect the characteristics of the Etna Terroir.

What You’ll Experience

We will welcome you offering a tour of our property which includes: a guided tour of the vineyards, followed by a visit to the old winery, whose original structure dates back to 1815 and a tour of the underground wine cellar. Later on you will get to try 4 of our Etna DOC and Organic wines with a selection of typical products such as cheese, salami, estate olives and olive-oil, local bread and homemade sweet. A detailed description of the most important wine-making processes will be provided, including the traditional organic cultivation method, Etna's indigenous varieties of grapes, fermentation and maceration processes, ageing and bottling of our wines.
