As you enter the square, you will be greeted by a magnificent view of the towering Christmas tree with twinkling lights and colorful decorations. In the background, the iconic Church of Our Lady before Týn and the Astronomical Clock add a charming atmosphere to the square. We will taste traditional Czech dishes such as trdelník (sweet pastry), klobása (grilled sausage) and potato pancakes. Pair these delicacies with a cup of warm mulled wine (svařák) to warm you up.

This bustling boulevard is not only a historical landmark, but also a lively center for shopping and entertainment during the holiday season. The walk will take you about 10-15 minutes, and you can enjoy the picturesque streets of Prague along the way. The market is a little less crowded here, making it easier to explore at your own pace. The square is lined with shops, cafes and restaurants, creating a pleasant atmosphere for visitors. Browse stalls offering unique gifts such as handmade jewelry, Czech glass, and crafts reflecting local traditions. Savor gourmet foods such as honey, jams, and traditional Czech pastries.

Havel Market, located just off Wenceslas Square is an historic market which has been operating since the 13th century and offers a fascinating mix of traditional and contemporary goods. Unlike larger markets, Havel Market offers a more intimate setting where you can enjoy the surroundings without feeling overwhelmed by crowds.
