Experience Details

If you’re going to have a cocktail in Seattle, why not have one with us in the center of the universe? Come try out some city classics and local spirits on this cocktail tour of Fremont, Seattle’s funkiest neighborhood.

Whether or not you’re an aficionado, your guide will start you out with the basics, with a couple of tastes of spirits produced right here in state. We’ll then move on to full cocktails that we hope will make your taste buds sing!

Cocktail number one might be a Seattle classic or a creation specific to the neighborhood, its history, or its community. As you enjoy your libation, your guide will fill you in on the long history of booze in the Northwest, from the days of Prohibition to the modern-day booming cocktail scene Seattle’s become since the 90s.

Along the way, you’ll find some landmarks scattered throughout the neighborhood, seemingly out-of-place objects – including the famous Fremont Troll – that have truly defined Fremont as the “Center of the Universe”.

Vladimir Lenin Statue (Pass By)

Depending on how much we’re enjoying our drinks at each stop, we may have an opportunity to pass by this unusual addition to Fremont’s outdoor sculpture collection and hear about how it ended up here and the controversy it has sparked over the years.

Lake Union (Pass By)

Along our walk, you might spot this lake filled with houseboats and commercial fishing vessels and with many viewpoints with city skyline views.

Theo Chocolate (Pass By)

Stop inside the Theo tasting room to sample some of the best chocolate found in Seattle. Your tour guide will fill you in on the history of the building, which dates back to over one hundred years

The Rocket (Pass By)

We may pass under this sculpture that’s part of a collection of Fremont’s space-themed outdoor art.

Fremont Canal Park (Pass By)

Our tour may briefly route past this park that stretches alongside the Fremont Canal, where year-round you can spot kayakers, rowers, and commercial and private ships passing by.

Fremont Vintage Mall (Pass By)

You might want to arrive early in Fremont for your cocktail tour to do some shopping at this hidden gem of a shop, where you can browse vinyl records, vintage clothing, antique home decor, second-hand furniture, and so much more.

Red Star Taco Bar (Pass By)

Stop here before or after your Seattle cocktail tour to continue enjoying Fremont’s food and drink scene. This restaurant specializes in tasty margaritas and even tastier tacos!

Fremont Coffee Company (Pass By)

You might pass by this house with a wrap-around porch that happens to be a beloved Seattle coffee shop! Stop in here before your Fremont tour for a little pick-me-up.

We may pass by or stop at this bar and restaurant with some pretty wild decor and an excellent cocktail menu.

Pel Meni Dumpling Tzar (Pass By)

Jai Thai Restaurant (Pass By)

This Seattle restaurant has several locations in Seattle and has served up classic and inspired Thai cuisine for decades. Stop here for a pre-tour snack or post-tour dinner, a great option for a vegetarian restaurant!

Fremont Mischief Distillery (Pass By)

Our tour may pass by or stop in at this distillery, bar, and restaurant that produces its own spirits on site. Stay afterwards for the excellent food menu or, on select evenings, live music!

Triangle Spirits (Pass By)

We may pass by or stop at this favorite local watering hole to enjoy an ever-changing menu that often features classic and Prohibition-era–style cocktails
