Hiro was an fun and knowledgeable guide. He delivered exactly what we were looking for, a locals take on Kyoto. He was fun and a great conversationalist. He was able to easily make adjustments for food allergies. We would recommend him and his tours for anyone travelling to Kyoto.

Hiroshi's izakaya and street food crawl in Kyoto was an absolute delight! With his expert guidance, we explored the charming streets of Gion and enjoyed delicious bites & drinks at local restaurants. Hiroshi's great conversations and knowledge of Kyoto made every moment enjoyable. We left the tour extremely pleased and full. The class was a highlight of our week in Tokyo. We learned a ton of things about the products we used and were given lots of “chef’s tips” that you could never get from a book. Masa and Junko made us feel completely welcome. They were patient and caring, especially with my 11 year old son, whom they helped along as needed so that he could fully participate in the class. The food we made was delicious and the meal at the end of the class was relaxed, fun and warm. Thank you to Masa and Junko for a great time!

This was a great experience, Hero was our host and went above and beyond to make sure we had an awesome night, He made my family feel very comfortable and had a wealth of knowing not just on places to eat and drink but also the history and culture of Japan which was fascinating, definitely recommend!
