This tour was absolutely amazing! The view of Shizuoka from the tea farm was breathtaking, and it goes without saying that the tea farm itself was beautiful. Moreover, not only was Akito very accommodating, but also extremely knowledgeable on the tea; from the industry and production, to its culture and current trends. The things I learned from Akito has greatly enhanced my tea drinking experience. Also, highly recommend picking up some of the sencha and kukicha at the tea factory.

Highly recommend this tour. Akito has grown up in the business and was very knowledgeable. We went to the tea fields on the mountain where we picked tea leaves and had a tasting and enjoyed the glorious view. We then headed to the factory for further tasting and a factory tour. Highly enjoyable for anyone with or without an interest in tea. A truly memorable experience for my family.
