As the cherry trees didˋnt bloom, there was no Cherry Blossom Festival. But the walk with Yappy and Motoko was funny and interesting. We learned about Sakura, tasted specialties around Sakura and had a nice dinner. We recommend this tour.

What a great tour! The beautiful cherry blossoms illuminated by traditional lanterns along the riverside was a wonderful sight, a definite must see. We had Ryan as our guide. He speaks perfect English and is really friendly, and extremely knowledgable. I'm really glad we did the tour on the first day of our trip because we could ask him lots of questions so we learned a lot of things about Tokyo and Japanese culture, and recommendations for the rest of our trip.

Our Hanami evening tour with Haruka was fantastic! Firstly in the early evening while it was still light out we stopped off at a local store to have some sweet snacks, and we then strolled along the river. It was so beautiful, so many cherry blossoms right at the peak of blooming. Next we went to a local bar to eat some pork skewers and seaweed (typical food from the region). By now it was evening and dark outside, however all the trees in the area were lit up so you could see the cherry blossoms. We joined the walking hanami after a glass of celebratory champagne, then ate a good luck fish shaped pastry to end the evening. I highly recommend this tour! It was such a lovely evening. This food tour was absolutely a highlight of our trip to Japan and so we regretted not booking more byFood tours while we were there.
