+13 张照片Very good experience on our first day in Italy. Smaller family wineries with personality. Great wine and the guide was very informative and positive. They were able to help us ship a case of wine home which took the pressure off us trying to figure out the process.
10/10. Our tour guide Riccardo was friendly knowledgeable and really took care of us. The hosts at Tessari and Gamba vineyards were welcoming with generous pours and charcuterie spreads. The break for tour in Verona was concise but hit the highlights of the quaint romantic town. I will be recommending Riccardo to any one visiting Venice looking for an amazing day trip outside of the area to Soave, Valpolicello and Prosecco.
We were treated to a wonderful experience by our guide Ricardo. We first visited a lovely Soave winery. It is family run and they were all delightful. The wine was delicious. We then headed to Verona. What a beautiful city. Ricardo gave us an excellent walking tour of the city and provided so much interesting history. Pick up from Venice was simple and direct. Ricardo our tour guide was knowledgeable and want us to have a great experience, which we did. We visited two family-owned wineries and received plenty cheeses, salami and bread at each. Ricardo allowed us to be flexible with our tour which was nice but we also wanted to see Verona which was impressive. Well worth the price of this tour!
This was exactly what I was hunting for. I am a big red wine fan and it was not easy to find someone doing tours of Amarone vineyards leaving out of Venice. Riccardo is extremely knowledgeable, incredibly kind and a great driver which is important because you are spending 3+ hours in a car with someone you have never met before.
