+166 张照片This was such a fun experience, highly recommended! It was fun to walk to the local restaurants. The amount of time spent at each venue was perfect. The local flavors were delicious. The portions are generous and we finished the tour feeling very satisfied. Javier is a fantastic guide and is very knowledgeable about the local culture.
Wow!!! This food tour was “off-the-charts” - so outstanding! We are a couple of foodie people, and every stop on this tour, led by Javier was 5-stars! Javier I so knowledgeable about the history of the family run restaurants we visited, as well as the origins and preparation of the foods we ate. We’ve been coming to Cabo for years, and decided to venture off the resort property and experience real, authentic Mexican food from family-run businesses where the local locals go. Javier was our tour guide and he was such a pleasure to be with. First and foremost we ended up being a private tour.. Other companies would have cancelled for low census. Second he was able to accomodate allergies (nuts and shellfish). Theres lots of walking so wear comfortable shoes (helps with all the food you're about to eat). Skip breakfast, go hungry!
This tour was fantastic. Javier was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely committed to sharing the culture and food of his country. We were so full by the 4th stop, we had to take the food (tamales!) with us (it was delicious later on the way home!). This is the best intro to authentic Mexican food one could ask for--ceviche, mole, tacos, tamales, and churros--made in authentic local places, each with its own atmosphere and style. I highly recommend this tour. Worth every penny!
Javier was exceptional. Not only did he make an effort to independently communicate with each member of our group, he was informed, and kind. Pick this tour vs. other if you want an actual "local's" experience. You will visit restaurants you would never have found on your own!
