Where to start? I loved this evening for so many reasons!
We happened to be the only two guests that evening, which gave us the opportunity to get to know Chef Karl on a much more personal level. What an interesting, charming, and genuinely wonderful man. And, of course, who could not fall in love with Milo? He is definitely the best “mascot” in Berlin!

Excellent in all respects. Highly recommend!
My husband and I had the best time on this tour with Chef Karl. We love cooking and had booked this tour on the night of our arrival to have something we were excited enough about to help us stay up and get on a new schedule. The tour made this easy. Chef Karl was wonderful. It was so interesting to hear his personal stories about divided Germany when he was a little boy. The best food tour in Berlin
This has to be the best food tour in Berlin! Chef Karl takes you on a tour of his locality, brimming with stories of his family as well as local and national history. Then he serves a delicious meal in the intimate setting of his apartment, including home-cured meats and lovingly prepared German-inspired dishes. He's a fascinating host, with many tales, travels and experiences to relate, and you'll leave very satisfied on all counts!

Okay, WOW. You really can't go wrong with Chef Karl! By far the best food tour in Berlin I've been on (as a local who regularly takes visiting friends and family on food tours). Karl is friendly, entertaining and made us such an incredible meal, my parents and I are still talking about it! It was definitely the highlight of their visit to Berlin.
