A must-to-do experience
This plov class was pure magic in a giant pot! Our wonderful host walked us through every step of Uzbekistan’s national treasure: sizzling the meat, slicing mountains of golden carrots (my stomach is still recovering), and layering the rice just right so it steams to perfection. The kazan was big enough to bathe in. I briefly considered it. Family Plov Cooking & Bakery Tour
Akram was a fantastic host who made our visit to Samarkand highly memorable. He took us to the local bakery to show us how the famous Samarkand bread is baked and a local butchers to pick up meat for our Plov. He and his family then welcomed us to their home and took us through the Plov preparation and cooking process. It was really fun and delicious! Incredible Sights, Great Hospitality & A Must-Do Cooking Experience with Akram
Exploring Uzbekistan with Akram was phenomenal, but his cooking class took our trip to a whole new level. Akram is an exceptional host who makes you feel like family while teaching you the art of traditional Uzbek cooking.
