It was a great experience, I’d absolutely recommend the full tour with the lovely museum, creating your own chocolate and tasting. Our Guide was super nice, she took the time to answer all our questions and took photos for us along the way, so we could look at everything at our leisure.
We had a great and informative time here. It is easy to say that you have eaten chocolate before, but who can claim to have cracked and ground the beans themselves. Our questions were always addressed, and we felt like we were part of the team during the two hours. I would recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys flavors and some hands-on content. A must do experience when visiting Cuenca. Our tour guide was Señorita Michel and She was so informative, enthusiastic and just a wonderful guide through the history of Ecuadorian Cacao and the evolution on the process of making it into chocolate . We experiences hands on chocolate making, tasting different grades of chocolate and the ending with a fine cup of hot chocolate. My Mom and I had a blast.
