This venue has beautiful views, a charming host, delicious food and well selected wine pairings. Besides being a winery, they also grow olives, make their own olive oil and provide farm to table vegetables. The experience is never rushed, five courses, and a family feel of hosting. It is honestly so much for the price and without a single fault. I definitely recommend.

In southern Tuscany, Grossetto is a beautiful monumental town surrounded by its ramparts. She is fortunate to have, which interests us here, one of the best chefs in La Botte, at least the best in the region. After a beautiful journey, Elena opened "La Cucina Tascabile" (The Pocket Kitchen). She doesn't want to get a star (that deserves it!), but rather focuses with communicative energy and good humor, on producing happy and subtle plates that she prepares in front of you and by the minute. The food we had was the most delicious we had on our vacation. Umberto was very charming, and his mother is a fabulous cook.
