A great time learning how to sail in a beautiful location. Eduardo took care of everything, brought us to a local lunch place afterwards and then even drove us around town to show us the sights. Would come back again!
This trip was amazing! Fernando is a wonderful guide. He teaches you all about the catamaran and is very patient with you as you learn. He is a generous person with a lot of fun stories as well! Being on the boat is great, we even saw some whales in the distance as we were sailing. The boat feels very stable and safe too! This was hands down one of our most memorable experiences in Puerto Vallarta. Sun, sea, fishing, and quality family time — it really had everything. Sailing was incredibly relaxing, with the soothing motion of the water setting the tone for the day. The fishing itself felt almost mOne of our favorite activities in Puerto Vallartaeditative, and there was something deeply satisfying about catching fish and then eating it within about 90 minutes of pulling it from the ocean. We had a great time. Rafael was a great guide/captain. My son steered the boat for a while. We stopped and swam in the ocean for a while. We spotted a sea turtle and saw birds diving for fish. We got unlucky and didn't catch any fish or see any whales.
I had a great time and the crew was accommodating. I wasn't interested in the fishing portion and booked a time later in the evening when the winds were high so I could experience more speed on the Hobiecat. Fernando was a great and patient instructor and Eduardo made us some excellent guacamole.
