Cooking with Marti was one of the highlights of my visit to Budapest. Starting with meeting her at the Central Market where she walked us through to teach us about the foods of Hungary. As a professional chef she demonstrates just how extremely knowledgeable she is about the foods of her country.. We were in Europe for 2 weeks and visiting the Budapest grand market and cooking with Marti was the highlight of our trip! I would give our experiences with Marti a 10 out of 5 if I could - it was that great! I say experiences because the day before, on the last day of our Tauck Danube River Cruise we serendipitously made Langos with her as part of our tour. Marti was great! She took us on a quick tour of the market then we cabbed to her kitchen for a fabulous cooking class. She is very knowledgeable and a great teacher for all levels of cooking experience. We would defintely take the class again.

Marti was lovely, experienced and an excellent teacher. In addition to learning how to cook Hungarian food -- which she made very doable -- she shared a lot with us about her life and her country. A highlight of our 5 days in Budapest.
