Tanya is so friendly.anrd knowledgeable She is new to this. But there is a variety of local wineries sold and tasted here.
We absolutely loved our experience at the wine tasting. The host was considerate of our preferences but also let us explore new flavours. The tapas was also really good. We bought an additional charcuterie platter which didn’t cost a lot (around £15 for two people platter). The visit lasted around 2/2.5 hours, and the host even offered additional wine without additional cost. The atmosphere was very serene and romantic, and it was not crowded at all. We booked the wine tasting event and enjoyed many many different wines and had some delicious tapas. Our guide was so very knowledgeable both about the wines and also about Portuguese history in general. She went well beyond what would have been expected to ensure we had a great experience.
Really a taste of 5 local wines. Not produced at wineyard. Produced elsewhere. New owners who decided to produce on other sites. Disappointed.
Hi Agnes, while we appreciate your review, your review is not fair. on the experience description it is very well explained what kind of experience and wines you are going to taste, you just didn't take the time to read it, and also when you arrived you thought that this would be a tour of the wine production. The title of the experience is wine tasting not a wine making tour. Also like your case, for the people who really do not read the description, it is explained what this is. It is very unfair you saying new owners decided to produce elsewhere when it was explained to you the reason, and this extremally generic sentence only misleads people who will read it. Actually you got to taste one of the wines from this winery and also you and your partner actually got to taste a little bit more variety than some people get. I also understand that when people have a peculiar taste is difficult to please. if the review were about that you really didn't enjoy the wine, I would get it, but to make this type of review when it is described precisely what you wrote that yes is very disappointed for us as well.
