The best way to spend your afternoon in Shanghai!
We had a great afternoon in the company of Li! The tour was about 3 hours and featured local life, history (mind blowing to see the changes in SH over the past 100 years!), but not in an overwhelming way. Li is very easy-going and makes it feel like you’re hanging about with a friend.

A great afternoon in a fabulous neighborhood!
Li took us down lanes I would have never known existed and explained both the history of and modern stories about the area. The food was excellent, too. Everything was from small, neighborhood spots.
Li is super approachable, enthusiastic, and just a real joy to spend time with. Highly recommend!

One of the best tours I’ve ever been on! It was not only fun, but also really informative.
I lived in Shanghai for six years and even spent some time living in this neighborhood, but I never really knew the stories behind the area—the architecture, its history, and all the little details—until I joined Li’s tour.
