Hobart and Tasmania are perhaps one of the most sophisticated, yet under appreciated destinations we have had the pleasure of visiting. Great food, wine, friendly locals and breathtaking landscapes. Our two days with Penny (Lady P) were truly enjoyable, educational and fun. Whether it was quietly stalking wallabies on Maria Island, or eating oysters and sipping incredible Pinot noirs in Coal River, her depth of knowledge made our stay in Hobart truly exceptional. Our family had an incredible day with our tour guide and driver, Zen! He taught us all so much about Tasmania and shared many exciting stories. He suggested the perfect local lunch spot, so we were able to eat like the locals and try some well know Tasmania foods. The Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary was an amazing experience! I never thought I’d be able to pet and feed as many kangaroos as I’d like. Highly recommend!
