We did the three-hour boat trip on the Buru boat and it was genuinely one of the highlights of our time in Naxos. From the moment we set off, Voula, Popi and Dimitris were absolutely wonderful. Voula told us so much about Naxos, the surrounding area, the boat and, most fascinating of all, the role her extended family plays in preparing for the trips. We had a fabulous afternoon with Buru Boat in Naxos! There were eight of us on the boat, and we loved every minute. Our guide was so personable and wonderful, and the food was phenomenal. We learned so much about the history and culture of Naxos, as well as the nearby small islands we could see from the boat. Nothing short of spectacular! If you are considering a boating day during your time on Naxos Buru Boat is an outstanding option. We are a family of 4, the boat is the ideal size and Voula’s tour guide knowledge and Poppy’s sensational food made the day the highlight of our stay on Naxos. The 1.5 hour drive through the mountain villages only added to the experience.

This was, without a doubt, the best experience we had in Naxos! Please folllw this advice: take the drive, spent the money, and enjoy this most remarkable experience! The food was absolutely exceptional! The swimming and snorkeling was truly so beautiful and rejuvenating, and the captain and crew were radiant! Worth it!!!
