We came with a group of 4 girls for a bachelorette party, it was the best decision we made. Not only did we really enjoy our experience learning about Puerto Rican cuisine and how to make one of our favorite Puerto Rican dishes, but we also were given the recipe to take home with us && we got to know the chef has a restaurant in San Juan named Niche which we went to that same night and ended up being our favorite restaurant we tried on our 5 day trip (and we had a lot of good food). Great experience!
This tour was amazing! We learned about history and food in Puerto Rico before the cooking started which really helped set the scene. We got to speak with local vendors at the farmers market (they were really friendly) and I made my own plantain dish and the chef gave us her secret recipe, can't wait to recreate it when I get home! Great vibes overall and definitely recommend for foodies looking to have an authentic and fun experience.
Fun if they don’t overbook
Farmers market was great and I learned a lot, but there were too many people in the group. They were good about dietary restrictions though.
