+37 张照片Fantastic tour with John Luigi. Very insightful, knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. Wine and food were outstanding. You can easily take a taxi from Siena - about 20 euros. It’s about a 10 minute drive from the center of town. They’ll arrange a taxi back into Siena after the tour and lunch, so transportation is not a problem. The vineyards are gorgeous. Enjoy!
We recently took a wine tour here, and to say it exceeded our expectations is an understatement. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, warm, and sophisticated yet entirely relaxed. The estate boasts stunning, panoramic views that are worth the visit alone—make sure your phone is charged because you will want to take a lot of photos! Our host, Lorenzo, was absolutely fantastic. Tour was interesting and informative with lovely scenery. Wonderful wine tasting with generous pours of 6 wines and excellent food. Accommodated vegan diet with a great meal. Highly recommend!
If you’re visiting Siena, La Lastra Winery is absolutely worth a visit. We had a brilliant experience and would thoroughly recommend it. Just a short drive from the centre of Siena, the tour started with a walk around the vineyard with Lorenzo, who is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about wine, with a great sense of humour to go with it.
