Fun first time wine tasting experience. The place is beautiful, a peaceful getaway from busy Rome. Thanks to our host , I learned so much about wine and Tony for his beautiful singing. Love the people I met there from different parts of the world, made the experience even better.

Every detail about our tour was well thought out and planned and exceeded expectations! Our tour guide was personable, knowledgeable, funny and very hospitable. The tour of the town was interesting and a nice change from the city of Rome. We stopped and had wine in a local tavern and then shuttled to the vineyards, where we got to speak with the 8th generation winemaker. My friend and I were ready to get out of the crowds in Rome for a bit, and this was the perfect answer. Frascati is a short train trip from Termini station, and the train slowly climbs into the hills. We arrived early in Frascati to tour the town, and enjoyed the town square, shops, and restaurants. It was a Saturday so there was also a Farmers Market. We returned after the tour because we felt there was more to see. We all loved this tour of Minardi Winery. We got picked up in town and whisked away to the vineyard, just a few minutes away. Our guides were friendly and informative as we were slowly immersed into the Minardi family way of life. Lots of great wine to taste. The food was excellent and we appreciated the vegetarian options. The singing and dancing at the end of the day capped off a fantastic time.
