Two big thumbs-up for this tour!
Highly recommend! My guide Hindu was very knowledgeable about the foods and a confident, pleasant guide and university-educated. She knew exactly where to go and there was simply too much food which she sent home with me for lunch the next day! Highlights were wandering the back streets of Old Town and sitting oceanside to nibble on Swahili foods and watch the people and the beautiful view. Do Not Miss This Experience
We met our tour guide, Sabrina, at the designated location, which happened to be the first restaurant we were going to dine at. We had not tried Swahili food before so we asked her to make the selection for us. We had a combination of 5-6 side dishes along with a whole fried fish. Throw in some sauces and wow, what a meal. Delicious food and amazing guide
I had a wonderful time with my fantastic guide Sabrina, who made this tour a lot of fun, informative and (almost) most important for a food tour full of very delicious food! The tour is very well structured and you learn a lot about the city and it's culinary culture. You won't regret going, promised!
