A must!
We booked for the tour and tasting in Smithers Room, with super premium port wines and pairings.
The port lodge is situated in Gaia which took around 40 minutes to walk from our accommodation in Porto. We enjoyed the walk, crossing the Dom Luis bridge, but google maps will be your friend when it comes to steps and winding streets of Gaia. The walk was no problem, but the lodge is situated on top of a steep hill- meaning we were ready for a port cocktail when we arrived.

Tasting top
Nice visit to the winery with a good guide who spoke Italian and tasting of excellent port with excellent food and chocolate pairings

Fascinating Cellar Tour and Great Tasting Experience
Wonderful experience!
We did the guided tour of the cellar followed by the classic Port tasting and the Port‑and‑chocolate pairing.
Our guide, who spoke excellent Italian, was truly great at explaining everything — he knew how to lead us through the visit, keep us engaged, and even advise us on what to buy afterward. I absolutely recommend it.

Best wine tasting in Porto
We had a great tour with our guide Violeta! She has a great energy and knowledge and passion about the wine! We had an amazing experience with this lovely person walking through wine caves and tasting different varieties of Porto wines! Totally recommend this tour! Greetings from Tenerife 🤗
