The tour started at 3 PM, which was perfect for us just getting off the plane at 11 AM. Ardriani was our tour guide and she was a gem. She showed us around the entire island and obviously took us to the scheduled vineyards. Sue to the time of the year, we did not actually catch the sunset during our dinner at Mudbrick (great food and wine), but we did catch it on our ferry ride back. A nice break from Auckland.

Had a great time and it ended up being a private tour as the others dropped out. Adriana looked after us very well and our clear favourite was Postage stamp vineyard. Sharon was super friendly and the wines were beautiful.
This was a fantastic way to see the island by visiting three wineries and going the scenic route along the way! Sue was an excellent tour guide. We signed up for this because of the small number allowed on the tour, and as it turned out it ended up only being the two of us making it a personal tour! Sue was very knowledgeable about the island. We went to Batch Winery, Postage Stamp Winery and finished at Mudbrick Winery for dinner. The scenery? Unreal. The wineries? Incredible. The vibes? Immaculate. And our tour guide Sue? An absolute legend. From the moment she picked us up from the ferry, she had us laughing, sharing amazing stories about Waiheke’s history, and feeling like we were on a day out with a friend (who also happens to know all the best wine spots).
