A great foodie start to visiting the Algarve and Albufeira
Miguel was an attentive and friendly host, he collected us on time from our hotel in Albufeira and we enjoyed a great tapas lunch, driving through old and new Albufeira, stopping at a great beach viewpoint for pictures and his great information from a local point of view. However the most memorable was personal touch in visiting his farm family home and sampling the homemade liquors, jams and peri-peri sauce. If you are hesitating.. book it now!!!!
Miguel arrived at the meet-up point on time and began to guide us to the local restaurant where they had exquisite and unique tapas. Perfect blend of safe and risky options for everybody (not spoiling the menu lol). Then he took us on a beautiful tour to finish it off at his local farm where the liquor and jams are to die for. And let's not forget the animals omg they are adorable.

Unique insight into a Portuguese everyday life
Very good tapas. To get to the guide's farm feels unique and to get an insight into what it is like to live in Portugal today. A plus to the guide who is willing to share their private life. A small but fantastic experience

Authentic Portuguese food experience
Pick up on time. Tapas interesting as was very local and authentic. Pork cheeks were my favourite. Ride to faleshia beach was beautiful. Then onto the farm where we had the company of 3 dogs chickens and goats. Tastings of liquors and homemade jams was lovely. Hosting was fantastic and so amazing value Would recommend in a heartbeat.
