ビルバオは、工業港町から文化と食の中心地へと変貌を遂げた、ヨーロッパ屈指のカムバックストーリーです。 この1日ツアーでは、街を形作ってきたマーケット、バー、家族経営の施設などを通して、その変容を探ります。
まずはメルカード・ラ・リベーラのビエホ城で市場特選料理を味わいながら、定番のバスク式朝食サンドウィッチやシードルを味わいます。 そこから保存魚屋を訪れ、ビルバオの塩鱈へのこだわりを学び、その後、ピンチョスやツァコリの100年続くボデガへ。
途中、職人のチーズを味わったり、トルティーヤやタラのピルピルといったクラシックな料理にモダンに挑戦したり、家族に愛される酒場で午後のピンチョスを楽しんだり。 ビルバオの気まぐれなカロリーナ・ペストリーで締めくくり、グッゲンハイムへの散歩で、この街の注目すべき再生の物語が1周します。
