Food is often the window to history and culture. Vasilis (also known as Bill) was able to provide insight in both. It never hurts to have a history buff that loves to eat as your tour guide. As we explored the streets of Athens, Vasilis not only provided great bits of information, but he was able to provide some iconic views (Which he times perfectly, by the way). Our guide Penny was so thoughtful and friendly! We tasted so many different greek things and she also shared recipes and the tradition of them. Relaxed pace and comfortable tour, we recommend it.
