Tasty and informative tour
Brian was a great tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and sights, and seemed to love sharing it with us. He had a great sense of humor, and adapted his information to what we were most interested in hearing about. We really appreciate that he did the tour for only three of us, and spent an extra half hour with us. The variety and amount of food was just right.

Cruise excursion
China Town is a place steeped in history. Our tour guide, Scott, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and its history. His insights truly gave us a sense of the community and its rich heritage. The food we tried was authentic and delicious. I highly recommend this tour.

I’m also glad you enjoyed the food along the way. We want our guests to leave feeling like they’ve gotten to know a little of the real Chinatown—not just tasted some great food—and it sounds like Scott gave you exactly that experience.

We had a fantastic tour with Brian
We learned lots about the history of Chinatown and its inhabitants over the years. All the food we tried was great, it has given us confidence to be more adventurous when we head to Hong Kong next year (also was a bonus to learn some etiquette too). A definite highlight was the tea tasting, Uncle Gee took our daughter aside and laid down some important life rules for her to follow 😄. I’m really glad you had Brian as your guide, too. He has such a natural connection with people in Chinatown, and I love that you noticed how many people in the neighborhood know him. That personal connection can really give you a different look at Chinatown than you’d get just walking through on your own.
And it’s great to hear that trying the food made you a little more adventurous for your trip to Hong Kong next year. Hopefully Uncle Gee’s etiquette lessons will come in handy!
