Great experience!
I went on this tour with my wife and 6yo daughter and we had a fantastic experience! Alejandro was right on time picking us up and we had a great time getting to know each other and learning about the manuel antonio/quepos area. Cara provided lots of really tasty chocolates and did a wonderful job teaching us about growing cacao in costa rica and the chocolate making process. A very fun learning experience for all ages.
I highly recommend this tour because it was both educational & fun. We learned so much about growing & processing cacao, and the tastings were incredible. The lovely open air tasting area is magical. The lunch at a neighbor's home was a real highlight.
Chocolate, tea, river and casado… highly recommend!
Amazing experience learning about chocolate and the history of Costa Rica’s chocolate industry. The owner is great. The place was beautiful. The biggest surprise and one of the highlights of our trip was the river experience…we jumped off the rocks and floated down the river. It was fun for all. To end the experience we had lunch at a local family’s house and she made a killer “Casado” for us. For a group of 8, we had the entire place to ourselves. Awesome time making chocolates and swimming in the river
We had an amazing experience! The chocolate-making experience with Cara was a highlight. She was friendly and knowledgeable. It was hands-on, and our older son enjoyed cooking the cacao beans (which were locally grown) and grinding the dried beans into cacao paste. We all made chocolate truffles with a lot of ingredients to choose from. Doing all this surrounded by the mountain forests was next level.
