I did this walk by myself, the group was friendly, and the guide made sure everyone felt included and engaged. I learned so much about Old Delhi’s food culture, where the flavors come from, and the traditions that keep these foods alive. Every bite was a burst of flavor that helped paint a vivid picture of daily life here.

This food walk gave me a real sense of Old Delhi’s culinary heritage. Along the way, we sampled fragrant rotis, perfectly spiced kebabs, cooling lassi, and sweets that were sweeter than any dessert I’ve had before. The guide took care to share local history and cooking techniques that deepened my appreciation for every bite. It felt like a delicious walking lesson in culture, community, and tradition.
What stood out most to me was how each stop was chosen with care, not just for flavor but for tradition and cultural significance. I came away with a list of favorite places I can’t wait to revisit.
I went with a group of friends and we all agreed this walk was the highlight of our Delhi visit. The pace was just right, with time to savor each dish and ask questions.
I joined the Old Delhi food walk with no expectations and left with memories I’ll treasure. Our guide knew just where to take us, into hidden alleyways and centuries-old eateries that I never would have found on my own. By the end, I felt like I understood this part of the city in a way that sightseeing alone could never have given me.
