Excellent Wine Tour 10/10
We had a fabulous time on this deluxe wine tour. Our tour guide was lovely, so friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. The first stop was Craggy Range winery and this was indeed deluxe. What a fabulous place. We were seated around a table and served a delicious platter of meats, cheeses, biscuits, breads etc etc. The lady who described the wines we were tasting was very good, you didn’t feel she was talking over your head. Craggy range visit
Wonderful tour would highly recommend 🙌
Dave the x Rei ver was an excellent host and guide for the day and the drive up Te Mata peak, the wine tasting at craggy and tour of underground cellar was a highlight.

A must do if in napier a short time
Dave was a great guide taking us to two locations, the first of which (craggy range) was absolutely amazing, scenery, architecture and host were beyond equal and a must see if visiting the Napier area, the second venue was small and not so friendly.
Scenery and explanation of local area history while travelling in comfort was very interesting.
Highly recomended if spending a day in napier
Disappointing Wineries experience.
This winery tour was disappointing. We only visited 2 wineries and did not go to Te Mata Peak. The first winery, Craggy Range was upscale with a very nice tour and tasting. The second winery, Arlene, not so much. Our driver was not enthused about going to Te Matta and seemed to waste time so that we did not have enough time to go there. I would not recommend this tour. There were other tours listed on Viator that included snacks. This one did not.

Thank you for your review. We are so sorry to hear you did not enjoy your tour with us. We are disappointed to hear that you did not go up Te Mata Peak, as this is a significant part of the tour and the overall experience. We wish you got to experience the tour fully. We understand that the venues were very busy on the day you toured. Although you still had a 1-hour immersive tasting at each winery. Ultimately, the time was too short to reach Te Mata Peak while honouring the tour end time, which the driver communicated to the group. He offered to take you to Bluff Hill Lookout in Napier instead, which the group seemed happy with. The tour description does not mention snacks. However, we do have a private option of this tour that does include a platter at Craggy Range. We are always trying our best to provide a top-class experience for our guests, and we greatly appreciate your feedback, Judy. We are committed to making this tour better in every way that we can.
