Fun educational experience where we learned about mate, a regional drink. Learned how to make it, drink it, and appreciate the ritual. Taught by locals who willingly shared their suggestions for things to do and try during our stay.
Before going to Spain, I first stayed in Buenos Aires for a month and finally experienced the legendary Mate tea! The first drinking a little painful, but the more smooth the drink, the super. I really enjoyed the experience. The team was very friendly and knowledgeable, so much about mate I didn't know and so much still to discover. The activity was well organized and I enjoyed everything.
I loved the experience! I'd never tried mate before, and it's not just delicious, the way they explained it was fantastic! I had so much fun, the people at Vamos are the best!
I attended the mate workshop at Vamos a few days ago, and honestly it ended up being one of my few real experiences in Buenos Aires since I was only in the city for a short time and I’m so glad I went. The host was fantastic: super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and great at explaining everything clearly.
