Impromptu visit to the tea factory. We hadn’t booked but were warmly welcomed with a delicious blueberry iced tea, before being given a comprehensive and really interesting and informative tour of the factory and surrounding gardens. So many fascinating facts about the various trees and plants, from cinnamon (Sri Lankan), which is much sweeter than from other countries, lemongrass, teak trees, aloe plants ….. and of course tea! Best visit I did in Sri Lanka! They showed us the tea making process inside the ancient factory and they Also offer us a degustation of 7 different kind of tea. The owner showed us around their Jungle zone and their fantastic garden where he explained the medical use of several plantes that grow inside. It was super interesting and left me speechless. A beautiful place, surrounded by medicinal plants, among scents, colors, and beautiful people. We were shown around the garden, the tea production process was demonstrated to us, and we tasted delicious tea. It's not just a factory, it's a place where you can feel at home. I highly recommend it!

The kind gentleman who took us on a tour did an incredible job. Learnt many interesting uses of natural products, even got some aloe Vera on my sunburn. The tea plantation was breath taking and all staff were very polite. Seriously a must do.

Beautiful place! I've been dreaming of going to the tea factory. The tour was conducted by the owner himself, a wonderful and sympathetic man. The best tour in Sri Lanka! There was a tasting at the end. Thank you for your hospitality.
