+18 枚の写真The class was the highlight of our trip. We visited the markets where the locals shop, saw the community bread oven and learned about life in the Medina in Marrakesh. The cooking class was wonderful and organized. We enjoyed our fabulous meal on the rooftop terrace.
Wow, what an amazing experience! We had a blast, and the meal we made was the best we’ve had in Morocco so far. We were lucky to have a diverse group cooking chicken, lamb, and meatball tagines, along with delicious side dishes and fresh, flavorful desserts. The lunch was served on the rooftop, and it was absolutely wonderful—full of vibrant flavors and simply delicious! There were a few minor things that could be improved. This particular class started late simply because we were waiting for four other participants to arrive. No fault at all of the staff, who were patient and gracious in accommodating the late arrivals. Because of the late arrivals it was necessary to start the cooking element of the class straightaway, and the tour of the bread oven, hammam and local market was offered after lunch but was declined by all participants. We usually teach one tagine, but for this class, the six participants requested to prepare three different tagines, and not wanting to disappoint, we agreed, so the class took longer than normal. The plus side was that everyone enjoyed the lunch all the more. Hassan has been translating the class for over 10 years, and he does so adeptly and with finesse. If something wasn't translated it was because he deemed it not relevant to share with the whole group. In any event, we provide recipes for all dishes with comprehensive instructions.
We had the most wonderful time at Riad Dar Zaman and were well looked after by Humza and Karima. The local tour gave a real insight into how the neighbourhood works and functions. The cooking class was excellent, Karima shared some great tips and lunch was enjoyed on the beautiful terrace. Can’t recommend enough.

The food we prepared and cooked was definitely the best we had during our stay in the city! Karima and Hassane were passionate about their cooking and showed us some of the little techniques that transform "good" into "excellent"! Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience
Fantastic cookery class. Very friendly team. English French and Arabic speaking . Wonderful tour of local Medinah “ off the beaten track “. Guide Hassan, Chef Karima and patron Peter were so welcoming . Prepared fantastic food and then served to us on spectacular roof top setting was just wonderful. Highly recommended . Hygiene tiptop.
