I didn't had enough time to do the longer tour to the women's cooperative, thus I did the masterclass but even with these 2 hours it was possible to learn and experience coffee from Rwanda from the bean to the final cup of coffee. Thanks a lot to the wonderful team at question coffee!
Gisselle was lovely and very knowledgeable about the coffee productio, she was funny, made you feel comfortable starlight away We 4 different coffees Question coffee sell, and did a smell and taste test, in an attempt to pick out the flavours, tones and textures of each. Absolutely wonderful experience! I love coffee but did not know much about the production process. Giselle was so knowledgeable and friendly! I enjoyed getting to have a drink while listening to her description of the harvesting process, esp since the coffee tasting part is only small amount of freshly brewed coffee. Only 2hrs so it was perfect for me given that I didn’t have a ton of time in Kigali.
This was an experimental class with a very informative instructor, Patty. I learned a lot about coffee growing, roasting and tasting. It was fun to be able to try different coffees. The Question Coffee center and cafe are lovely places.
Learned so much about how to make the best cup of coffee! Am excited to use these tips when I get home. Great morning.
