A great way to see the...
A great way to see the behinds the scenes and back stage inner-workings of the opera house. A knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Being in the orchestra out was especially interesting.
A full breakfast awaits you when you are done - very tasty and a nice way to conclude the tour and get to know your tour guide and other tourists.
We asked about tickets, went to the ticket booth and got 7th Roy seats for My Fair Lady that night!

Backstage tour of Sydney Opera House
We heard a few older participants wonder aloud about steps…even as the descriptor the tour specifically mentions the number of steps during the tour. I recommend reading the description before booking.
We had a wonderful morning with the ultimate guide, Steve. Knowledgeable and clear at each stop in the tour, he left plenty of time to breathe it all in! With only a small group it was easy to chat and still not miss a thing.

A really great tour.
We had a wonderful time at the Opera House. Alan was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic he really made the tour come alive. He is obviously so proud of the building and his passion really showed throughout the tour.
I would recommend this tour to everyone with an interest

Exceptionally informative experience!
Wonderful way to experience not only the inner workings of the Opera House but also its architectural history from inception, to execution, to modern day use - including its contribution to the environment with its carbon negative status. Attending a performance later that same evening was so much more magical and wondrous since the tour gave us a deep appreciation of what it takes to put on a show!
Educational and Fun!
It was the highlight of my trip to Sydney so far. Marcus was a passionate tour guide and ensured we had fun and learned a lot about the history of the opera house. It was wonderful.
