Wonderful experience with Katarina!
We started our tour with a relaxing (and much needed!) coffee break where we had domestic coffee. Our guide, Katarina, was very personable (we felt like she was like a family member or close friend!) and answered all our questions about Serbian culture and daily life. We then went to a nearby bakery to sample some traditional baked goods (and bureks) and then visited a pastry shop for some fresh cakes and lemonade. <p>Jelena was a wonderful guide. She had a lot of great insights about life in Belgrade and how Serbians like to enjoy food. We went first to a coffee shop for some traditional coffee, then to the local market for some great tastings. After that we had some sweet pastries baklava at a bakery. <p>This trip is an absolute must. Our guide Jelena from Serbia Tours was simply fantastic. She met us at our hotel and took us on a walking tour of Belgrade to see the sights and sounds of local markets and cafes which we would not have discovered on our own. Great tasting experiences - local coffee, pastries, cakes, breads and drinks and in the market, cheeses, honey, fruit, nuts and meats. Brilliant.
