The truffle hunting adventure was a highlight of my 2-week Provence trip. Johan was communicative in the lead-up to the excursion and entertaining in leading the 3-hour event. I learned a lot about the lengthy time it takes for truffles to grow! A labor of love where patience is definitely required. Loved the interaction we were allowed with the truffle hunters (3 adorable pups) and being able to help secure the truffle when found by the hunter. Nice sized group (12) . Our truffle hunting experience with Johann and his three dogs was easily one of the highlights of our trip. It was informative, educational, unique, and most importantly, so much fun. What an amazingly fun experience. We’ve been on truffle hunts before, last year in Italy. What makes this experience stand part is the fantastic tasting at the end that exceeded expectations. The champagne kept flowing and we loved different ways you can experience summer truffles. Highly recommend.
