Good wine, good food and a glimpse into winemaking of the past.
This is not a vineyard, but a restored 19th century, winery show casing the equipment and methods of local Rioja winemaking that has almost completely died out, complete with treading barrels, a press and large cellar with storage barrels. A little hard to find, but when you see a sign saying it is straight on (coming from Logrono direction), it is immediately on the right. There is parking 50yds on the left. Walk back to the two doors and gate on the other side of the road.

A fab authentic experience!
We had an forgettable Gastro Experience evening at Jose's fabulous winery. It was our first night in the La Rioja region and it quickly turned into a very informative evening with Jose detailing the different wine classifications in the region, along with the real challenges that the smaller specialist wineries face in todays market. Sencillamente increíble
Han hecho maravillas con la bodega
Como anfitriones, tanto Jose como Josune han sido impecables, elegantes, cercanos, como si nos conociéramos de toda la vida.
Han levantado una empresa original y potente.
No tengo más que buenas palabras para ellos.
Y la comida???? Que manos tienes Josune…
Y su vino solo mejora la experiencia

Warm hosts and a wonderful conclusion to our Rioja trip
We were welcomed very warmly by José and his wife and spent an all-around successful evening in the historic Bodega Tesoro.
The tour through the old winery was personal, interesting, and designed with a lot of passion. We especially liked the family atmosphere – you never felt like part of a large tour group, but rather like a guest among friends.
The evening was perfectly rounded off by an excellent meal and the matching wines. For us, this was the ideal conclusion to our time in La Rioja.
