This is not strictly speaking a cooking course, but rather a demonstration and an accompanied visit to markets. The conversation with guide Susan is pleasant. She speaks good English and wants to share many elements of the local culture. The visit to the markets is more a cultural visit, you do not buy by the ingredients of the meal. The whole experience was fantastic! Bruce and Lily welcomed me to their home after a visit to the food market in the Muslim quarter. Lily taught me how to cook the famous Biang Biang Mian noodles, guiding me through every step with special kindness. After we finished cooking, we enjoyed a meal together with Bruce and their son.
