This was probably one of THE best excursions we’ve ever done. Dora was personable and the afternoon went quickly - felt like we’d made a friend, all the while learning about Hungarian culture and way of life. Highly recommend !
Dora was our host and made the day such a special experience! She met us early at the train for our journey outside the city where we got to see how your average Hungarian lives. Along the way there was plenty of time to actually get to know Dora. Such a terrific person! And then we made a BIG pot of Goulash and had a great time learning how and performing all the steps. We joined this cooking class because we love to cook and enjoy slow travel experiences. We also wanted to get away a bit from busy Budapest, and this village in the woods with its 600 locals was really authentic. We learned about Hungarian cuisine, ingredients, and traditions, and the couple who hosted us were incredibly warm and welcoming. They gave us not only cooking tips but also a very personal glimpse into their everyday life, which made the experience truly memorable. Highly recommend...더 읽기
We were so lucky to find this goulash cooking experience, and it was truly amazing! The village is surrounded by nature, it was really calm and quite after Budapest. The staff gave us the feeling that I am one of their friends and we felt at home from the very beginning. The goulash we made was rich and flavorful, we enjoyed the Bullsblood too.
