Food and Friendship
Wow! What a fantastic experience this was. We were welcomed into the home and truly felt like family. Our hosts were so gracious. We learned so much about basic things like how to core a zucchini without destroying it. All of the dishes we prepared were done in a kosher kitchen. The end result was a huge feast of food that was absolutely decadent! What a wonderful way to learn about another culture through cooking and new friendships! I highly recommend this tour.

A Delightful and Delicious Experience
We were met by Paul Nirens, a friendly Australian now living in Israel, who was our interpreter, guide and photographer. We were welcomed into the home of Mi'ad, a lovely Druze woman who told us about her life and her culture before showing us how to prepare a number of Druze recipes. The cooking class was both fun and informative and the lunch we enjoyed afterwards was delicious. Paul sent us the recipes and we plan to host at least one dinner party featuring Mi'ad's recipes. The Druze Cooking with Galileat was phenomenal! It was very special meeting the Druze family and cooking and eating with them. They were extremely hospitable and our guide Paul was exceptional! An outstanding experience!

Cooking and Much More with a Druze Family
Wendy, Lorie and I spent two weeks touring Israel in Oct 2022. A very special highlight of our trip was a visit (arranged by Galileat) to a Druze family for a hands-on cooking class.
