+2장의 사진Had an amazing day out with Vijay. He was very informative and gave an overview of the island’s history. Tried multiple teas and rums as well as some vanilla products. The lunch as Saint Aubin was delicious!
Very informative, catered to our interests and time table. We were able to spend an extended time at the rum tasting and had a very leisurely, delicious and filling lunch. Vijay was a fantastic guide and gave us a lot of information about the history of Mauritius.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip, it was one of the highlights of our first five days in Mauritius. Our guide was informative and friendly, some bits felt a little rushed but there was a lot to fit into one day and a fair amount of travelling in between places. We enjoyed our lunch immensely, it was a set menu and very very delicious. The highlight for us was the tea factory and tea tasting, the setting was just breathtaking! We did 2 trips on separate days! Both were excellent and gave us a great appreciation for the culture and history of Mauritius. Our guide on both trips was Ravind, a lovely man who looked after us really well, no questions unanswered and a dry sense of humour. We did the 1001 Fragrance and Colours South East tour - this included the Tea Plantation, Colonial House, Alligators and Giant Tortoises, Rhum and Vanilla tasting (also had a lovely lunch there), Gris Gris viewpoint. Our guide Nirag was fantastic. From pick up to drop off he gave us so much information about Mauritius and its history and about the places we were visiting. This was our favourite tour (and I don't even like tea!) The tea plantation, factory and tasting were really interesting. My Mum's favourite part of the tour was La Vanille Nature Park, as she got to feed Aldabra tortoises. Highly recommended.
