Ben was our guide, and we met at Bridle Trails State Park, a very accessible suburban park in Kirkland. Ben is an expert, a great guy, a very good teacher, and he is passionate about being outside, finding delicious and healthy mushrooms, and sharing is knowledge. He gave us a great foundation for learning how and where to find mushrooms. It was great! I learned a lot about mushrooms. I also enjoyed going into the woods and having the instructor point out the different kinds of mushrooms.

Absolutely incredible and so so worth it. I genuinely can’t say enough good things about Vassilissa as a guide, and just how thoughtfully organized the whole experience was. This was my second trip with Forage Seattle and I’ll definitely take more in the future.

V was an amazing host and guide. She was so sweet, hospitable and knowledgeable with just about anything related to foraging. I would love to do any one of her classes. I’ve learned so many new techniques for cooking and foraging. I had a great time and would recommend this for any shroom lover! Her passion is contagious and it makes you excited to learn more.
