It was truly an incredible and unique experience that I will forever cherish. I booked this trip with one of my best friends. We didn’t have crazy expectations, but we left impressed by how informative, friendly, organized, and well-prepared our tour guides were (especially Alan!). We booked the 9AM tour which was perfect, as you don’t have to worry about traffic on the way to Xochimilco. This was such a fun tour. They were super friendly and knowledgeable of the area and made us all feel so comfortable. They also knew a lot about the island and provided great background in how it came to be. We had an amazing day and I strongly recommend doing this one as it was in the preserve, away from the other boats.

We hired a motorized boat, Xolito ~Xperience and had the best of time. The group leader, Alan was extremely knowledgeable about the history and he made it fun. I give this a five star event and it's off my bucket list. Don't believe the naysayers stating that the island is gone because it's not. They probably went to the fake island. Whole trip was around three hours.

Very fun and entertaining! Tour guides were extremely friendly and even participated in the games. Food and drinks were provided. 100% recommend! :)
