Super nice and informative tour
Super nice and informative guide. Friday night production for the week was already over. Book for more "action" during the week. Afterwards tasting of almost all varieties possible.

Highly recommended tour!
A very informative tour of the Ottakringer Brewery in which on the one hand it was explained how the beer brewery takes place and on the other hand the history of the brewery, the second largest private brewery in Austria was explained in a very humorous way. Highly recommended!

Interesting tour
I booked a brewery tour directly on the Ottakringer website. The tour guide was there on time and led us through the brewery. She was very friendly and was able to answer all of our questions. At the end there was an extensive tasting of the brewery's various beers. I am very satisfied with the tour and would do it again if I were to visit Vienna.

An authentic brewery in the heart of Vienna
The visit was magnificent. Our guide Maia and the good brewer Mario accompanied us in the discovery of this brewery and in the tasting of many types of beer, each better than the other. Sincere congratulations.

Not worth the effort of getting there. Disappointing.
We loved the red bier (which is widely available) so made the pilgrimage to the brewery on the outskirts of town. Didn't bother with the tour and found the visitor centre disappointing and little more than a brewery shop. Not worth the effort of getting there. The photo makes it look better than it is. Disappointing.

Thank you for your feedback! We do not state anywhere that we actually have a visitor’s center and apparently you also did not take part in our tour. We think getting a 3-star-review is a bit unfair then. Our shop is a great place to buy our products or try some of our beers, but to fully experience the brewery and have a proper tasting, you would need to take part in our tour. We would kindly ask you to rethink the review about our tour, as you have not even participated in it. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us directly.
