My husband and I loved our tour with Alessio! He collected us from our villa which was a fantastic start. He’s very knowledgeable and engaging, and he chose an excellent range of places for us to visit including his own place at the end. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough! I did 2 days of wine tasting with the amazing Alessio as my guide. One focused on Barolo, the other on Barbaresco. Also had an opportunity to try Marin Falcone, Alessio’s wine, which was excellent. He arranged everything, altered the itinerary on the fly when he noticed I was interested in stopping or photographing. Always on time and everything perfect.

We had an outstanding experience on this day trip! Our guide was Luca, who has lived in the area his whole life and has extensive knowledge of the geography and the wines. Luca took us to three wineries in Barolo and Barbaresco, perfectly selected to give us a representative sampling of the different terroirs and the varying styles of wine produced here. We arranged a full day tour to include a couple of Barolo producers, separated by lunch at a local restaurant. Alessio was a charming, fluent in English and a very knowledgeable guide. The first visit was to Silvano Bolmida in the morning, a small family producer, where the son of the owner, Francesco talked through the activities and wines produced. Alessio is a superb guide and his knowledge of winemaking and the region made this experience educational and fun. The beauty of the area and the historical significance of the region made this a must do while in the area. Alessio chose great family wineries to visit and the owners were so informative and welcoming. Alessio gave us great tips for dinner and we appreciated he and our driver for the day. Highly recommend Alessio!
