Alenka gave us the true experience of being with a loving Slovenian family. Her son Luka picked us up at our hotel and drove us to their home while telling us about their country along the way. The food and wine were exceptional. We made dessert together. A beautiful evening.
Can’t recommend highly enough. A wonderful charcuterie board and we made our dessert. The family was do welcoming and we lingered over wine and great conversation
It was a Sunday and it’s a rest day but upon being canceled last minute by another irresponsible tour offering culinary experience (Island of cooking Ljubljana - please do not book with them, it was booked a month ago and he came a day before saying that he saw the wrong schedule so be prepared to be cancelled by this irresponsible cook who blocks you on WhatsApp too), Alenka went the extra mile to offer the tour despite being her grandson’s birthday! I was picked up at my hotel in Ljubljana and brought to s house about 15 minutes outside of Ljubljana . The experience was wonderful Cooking traditional food , learning about the area, the history and just talking food! Friendly, fun and clean.
