Dominicania Cultural Theme Park

The journey begins inside a Taíno-inspired cave, followed by an immersive cinema experience. Throughout the park, visitors taste chocolate from cacao to bar, enjoy premium rum, coffee, and traditional casabe, and explore Dominican gastronomy. Guests can polish their own larimar stone, create a traditional hat, and watch expert cigar rollers at work. They will also step into a recreated mine of larimar and discover Dominican history through interactive experiences. Enjoy live music, dance, and cultural performances, along with baseball and golf simulators inspired by Dominican legends. The experience ends in a lively colmado where guests can play dominoes, dance, enjoy local music, and relax with a cold beer.

A great way to learn about the culture of the Dominican Republic!

We had a great experience at the Dominicania Cultural Theme Park. Alexander was a great guide who taught us about coffee, chocolate, yuca, hats and helped us with our batting cage and golfing experiences. We watched movies about the early Dominican settlers, were treated to some theatrical dancing, learned about rum and watched as cigars were being made. You need to visit this! It’s a must if you’re only here for a short time!

We were looking for something that gave us some sort of sense of Dominican culture and were pleased when someone recommended this. I honestly don’t know why more people visit this especially if you’re visiting for a week or more. I believe it has only been opened 6 months which explains perhaps the cautious and sensitive approach of staff. History, 4D cinema, product tasting included, interesting learning. You get to know the best of the DR in one place.

Excellent place to learn about Dominican history and culture in an immersive and participatory way. From learning about Dominican history to the best products in a way Educational. Time flies and you want to stay longer enjoying each experience.
