She taught them all about local produce and dishes, they prepared a vast array of food, and even made their own tortillas. Claudia kindly invited me and my partner to share this feast with them! They said she was a wonderful, funny host and teacher.
Es war mega cool und Claudia und Lou haben einen super Job gemacht! Es ist aber eher ein gemeinsames, geführtes Kochen als wirklich ein Kurs. Der Besuch auf dem Markt war mega interessant und lehrreich. Alles in allem ein tolles Angebot! P.s.: die angekündigten 2 Biere haben leider gefehlt...
We had a wonderful experience shopping at the Central Market and at the villa for our cooking lessons. Our chef Claudia was very knowledgeable and personable, with a great sense of humour. We learned a lot about the local food and how the different chilis are used in cooking. The cooking lessons in knife usage, as well as using a mortar and pestle to get the best flavours out of the chilis, were helpful. I even enjoyed learning how to make fresh tortillas. this was absolutely fantastic. Alejandro was phenomenal and the food we made was delicious. this is the best experience we've had in Cancun and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience true food culture of Mexico.

We had a fantastic day—first exploring the local market in Valladolid and then cooking several authentic dishes. Claudia tailored the menu for us and our interests. We would definitely do it again!
